This number (in inches) will give you the approximate size in accordance with the size chart provided bellow. Once received, you should be looking through the topmost bars of the helmet. The helmet should feel like it is \"tilted\" down in order to see out of these bars. You might think the neck is exposed, but lacrosse helmets are designed to protect the face and throat more so than the back of the head. Once you have done this, remove the chinstrap completely and place on your chin so that is tight to your face. While holding the chinstrap up to your face, shorten the straps so they line up with the snap buttons and tighten accordingly.
