The Stio Women’s Pinion Down Sweater is a technical, lightweight insulator designed for four-season versatility, from ridgeline transitions to casual wear in town. It is known for its high warmth-to-weight ratio and a streamlined fit that works well as a standalone layer or a low-bulk mid-layer under a harness or shell.
Key Features
- Insulation: Stuffed with 800-fill Allied Feather + Down HyperDRY™ water-repellent goose down, which is responsibly sourced (RDS-certified) and remains lofty even in damp conditions.
- Fabric: The shell is made from Pertex® Quantum Shadow Ripstop (100% recycled nylon), which is wind-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and finished with a PFAS-free DWR to shed light moisture.
- Packability: Includes an interior security pocket that doubles as a self-stuffing sack, allowing it to pack down small for storage.
- Construction: Features narrow baffles to stabilize down, elastic cuff bindings, and an adjustable hem to lock out drafts.
- Weight: Extremely light, weighing approximately 8 oz (varies slightly by size).
